It was a busy summer of weddings at The Shepherd's Hut !
The weather turned fair just in time for a lovely country wedding near Hungerford on Saturday.
Beautiful double cream peonies had a central role in the bouquet.
I made an early morning visit to Covent Garden this week with a shopping list for unusual pots and bedding plants. Judging by the back of my Land Rover on the way home, I was successful!!
Also very tempted by the buckets of paeonies, hydrangeas, delphinium, stocks..........this really is the best time of year for cut flowers.
I recently had a lovely commission - to create flowers for a wedding at The Ritz. The bride sourced birdcages which I filled to overflowing with Hydrangeas, Roses, Ami and Lisianthus.
My flower shop looked wonderful for the afternoon with these floral cages hanging from any available hook.
Sadly they then had to be loaded into the back of a 4 x 4 to make the journey to London!
